Robin Emmons

Robin Emmons is a social entrepreneur who founded Sow Much Good, a non-profit organization focused on addressing food insecurity in underserved communities in Charlotte. After a 20-year career in corporate America, she started the initiative in 2008 after observing the poor quality of food her brother was receiving at a mental health facility. Her work with Sow Much Good has earned her national recognition, including being named a CNN Hero and an Eisenhower Fellow. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from UNC Charlotte. Emmons is running as an independent candidate, emphasizing her commitment to community service over party politics.
