Russell Knox

Russell "Rusty" Knox is a Davidson native and has served as the town's mayor since 2017. His father, Russell Knox Sr., also served as Davidson's mayor from 1985 to 1995. Knox graduated from Pfeiffer College with a B.A. in Health & PE and Parks and Recreation Management. He has worked in real estate since 1994 and is also a performing singer/songwriter. He is married with five children and five grandchildren. Knox has been involved with numerous nonprofit organizations, including the Joe Martin ALS Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, and the Davidson Farmers Market.
