Sarah Louise Stimac Japour is a dedicated career prosecutor with over two decades of experience in law. She currently serves as the District Attorney for the newly established West Georgia Judicial Circuit, which encompasses Carroll and Heard counties. Governor Brian Kemp appointed her as the circuit's first District Attorney, a role she assumed in January 2025. Prior to this appointment, she served as the deputy chief assistant district attorney for the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit. A Republican, she is seeking re-election to the Georgia 6th Superior Court District Attorney West Georgia Circuit in the primary on May 19, 2026.
