Scott Houseman has been the Beverly Ward 4 Councilor since 2011. He is a lawyer by profession, having graduated from the University of Michigan and Suffolk University School of Law. Before his time on the City Council, he served on the city's Zoning Board of Appeals for 16 years, with ten of those years as the chair. He moved to Beverly in 1988 and is married with two adult children. He retired from the practice of law in early 2025.
