Sean Carlson is a Democratic candidate for Michigan State Senate District 13. A military veteran, he served in the U.S. Army and Air Force for 20 years, retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Carlson previously served as an Oakland County Deputy Executive and was the executive director of the Michigan Defense Center. He also spent 14 years on the Huron Valley School Board. Carlson earned a bachelor's, master's, and Juris Doctor degree from Michigan State University.
