Shadé D. Bowman is a candidate for Clerk of the Circuit Court for Harford County, Maryland, where she currently serves as the Chief Deputy Clerk. A lifelong resident of the county, Bowman has dedicated her entire 19-year career in the Maryland Judiciary to serving in the Harford County Clerk's office. Her career began as a courtroom clerk before she was promoted to numerous supervisory and management positions, including Land Records Supervisor, Civil Department Supervisor, and Criminal/Juvenile Department Supervisor. This progression has provided her with comprehensive, hands-on experience in every facet of the office's operations. Bowman is a graduate of the Institute for Court Management and holds national certifications as a Certified Court Manager and a Certified Court Executive. She is an active member of the Harford County Bar Association and the Maryland Circuit Court Clerks’ Association.
