She holds an Associate's Degree in Legal Secretarial Science from Holyoke Community College and a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management from Ashford University. Borgatti-Reed is retired from the Department of Defense, where she worked for 38 years. She has served multiple terms on the Agawam School Committee.
