Stacy Guffey is a candidate for Town of Franklin Mayor in Franklin, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Nonpartisan.

Stacy Guffey is a native of Macon County and a graduate of Franklin High School. He attended the Universidad Interamericana de Puerto Rico and later graduated from Western Carolina University. In 2018, he earned a Master's in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina. His professional experience includes serving as Macon County's planner from 2004 to 2009. He was instrumental in establishing the Arts and Heritage Center at the old Cowee School and founded a consultancy for economic development and planning projects in Western North Carolina. Currently, he is the Senior Program Manager at NCGrowth at UNC Chapel Hill, where he manages economic development projects. Guffey was elected to the Franklin Town Council in 2021 and currently serves as the Vice Mayor.
