Stephanie Niketic

Stephanie Niketic has been a resident of Newburyport for 45 years, with 34 of those years in Ward 2. Her professional background is in market analysis, consulting, and business management, including roles at a Dutch multinational company and as Chief Operating Officer at Yankee Group Research in Boston. In 1993, she co-founded and managed a software company that provided online services to the airline industry. Niketic has a long history of community involvement, serving for 12 years with the Newburyport Preservation Trust, including eight years on its board, and receiving their Preservation Advocacy award in 2023. She is an active citizen advocate, particularly on issues related to development and preserving the city's housing stock. She currently serves on the city's Fruit Street Local Historic District Commission.
