Stephanie Sneed

Stephanie Sneed is the incumbent for District 4 on the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Board of Education, where she currently serves as Chair. She assumed office on December 13, 2022. Sneed earned a Juris Doctor from Howard School of Law and has worked as a trial attorney for child protective services and in employment law. She has been actively involved in the community, serving as chairperson of the Black Political Caucus of Charlotte-Mecklenburg, a member of the CMS Bond Oversight Committee, and a founding board member of the Charlotte Community Think Tank.
