Stuart Ashby Lee is a resident of Smithfield, North Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Mass Communications. His professional background includes experience in education, government, community development, agriculture, and environmental science. He has worked for the Lexington County Public Schools, the Department of State, the Department of Commerce, and the United States Department of Agriculture. Lee has also served as a Team Lead for the White House Special Council for Strong Cities and Strong Communities. In his community, he has served as the Chair of the Smithfield Appearance Commission, volunteered in Johnston County Public Schools, and is a Deacon at his church. He previously ran for a seat on the Johnston County Board of Education.
