Dr. Tamara Smith has been a resident of Easthampton since 2007. She holds a Ph.D. in sociology with a focus on aging and is a professor at Westfield State University, where she educates students in health-related fields about the elderly population. Smith previously served as a City Councilor at-large for Easthampton from 2014 to 2017. She is also a co-sponsor of a resolution to support the rights of the transgender, nonbinary, gender diverse, and intersex community in the city.
