Her professional career has been in Duluth, where she has held leadership positions in retail, engineering, insurance, and healthcare. Currently, she is the Clinic Director at Twin Ports Dermatology. Swenson has also served on the Duluth Charter Commission and is involved with the Duluth Chamber of Commerce's young professionals group. She describes herself as a wife, mom, and community leader.
