Thad Flowers

Thad Flowers is a lifelong Atlanta native who grew up in District 7, attending Sarah Smith Elementary and Sutton Middle School. He earned a political science degree from Tennessee State University and later an Executive MBA from Georgia Tech's Scheller College of Business. His early career included working as a staffer for a U.S. Senator and a U.S. Representative on Capitol Hill. He also had a 15-year career in the automotive industry, rising to the level of General Sales Manager. In 2019, he returned to public service, serving as District Chief of Staff for the Atlanta City Council. Currently, he works as a Senior Public Affairs Specialist focusing on transportation and infrastructure projects.
