Todd Rotondo has been a resident of Beverly's Ryal Side since 1996 and has co-owned Salerno's Italian Pub & Eatery since 1998. He is married with two children who attended Beverly Public Schools. Rotondo has a long history of community involvement, including serving as president of the Ayers Ryal Side PTO, the Beverly Citywide PTO, and the Ryal Side Civic Association. He was first elected to the Beverly City Council for Ward 1 in 2020 and has served as Council Vice President. His political interest grew from interactions with local politicians at his restaurant, leading to his engagement in school PTOs and eventually a successful city council run.
