She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Morris Brown College, a Master of Divinity from Emory University, a Doctor of Ministry from Payne Theological Seminary, and a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Mercer School of Medicine. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
