Tony Mitchell is a husband, father, and resident of Atlanta's Mozley Park neighborhood. He is a first-generation college graduate with a B.A. in Political Science from McKendree University and a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law. In his current role at Gilead Sciences, he is responsible for lobbying and policy activity across the South. He has served on the board of Ethos Classical, a public charter school in Southwest Atlanta, and is a former board member of the Emerging 100 of Atlanta. Mitchell is a 2022 graduate of the LEAD Atlanta program and was named a '40 under 40' recipient by the Atlanta Business Chronicle in 2024.
