Tony Moore is a candidate for Mayor of Winterville in Winterville, North Carolina — 2025 General Election. Running as Republican.

Tony Moore has a long history of public service and education in Pitt County. He earned an associate degree from Lenoir Community College in 1971, a bachelor's degree from Appalachian State University in 1983, and a master's degree in education from East Carolina University in 1987. His career includes working as a public works supervisor for the Town of Winterville and as a teacher for Pitt County Schools. He is the president and owner of North Carolina Driving School, Incorporated. Moore previously served as a North Carolina State Senator for the 5th district during the 2003-2004 session. He has also served as a Winterville Town Council member. He has switched parties during his political career, having been elected to the Senate as a Democrat before becoming a Republican.
