E. Trenton Brown III, also known as Trent, serves as a Judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals, a position he assumed in 2018 following his appointment by Governor Nathan Deal. He is seeking re-election for this role in the May 19, 2026 general election. Prior to his current judicial tenure, Brown served as a Judge in the 8th Superior Court District of Georgia from 2012 to 2018, and as a Judge in the Putnam County State Court from 2008 to 2012. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University School of Law.
