He is also the co-owner of Southeastern Behavioral Healthcare Services, LLC, a behavioral health business located in Lumberton and Maxton. In December 2024, Hutchinson and his business agreed to a settlement of over $2.5 million to resolve civil allegations of false billing to North Carolina Medicaid between March 2016 and July 2020.
