Wes Allen is the incumbent Secretary of State for Alabama, elected in 2022. He previously served as Pike County Probate Judge and in the Alabama House of Representatives, where he notably banned curbside voting. An alumnus of the University of Alabama and Troy University, Allen played Crimson Tide football. As Secretary of State, he prioritized voter integrity by cleaning voter rolls, withdrawing from ERIC, and creating the Alabama Voter Integrity Database (AVID). He also streamlined business services and reduced wasteful spending. Allen is seeking the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor in 2026, aiming to extend conservative, effective leadership and counter liberal policies.
