Wilbert Pineda is a lifelong Somerville resident who grew up in public housing in Ward 7 and is a recent graduate of Somerville High School. He is the son of immigrant parents. Pineda has been active in the community as a volunteer and former steering committee member of the Somerville Food Security Coalition and has worked with the City of Somerville Office of Food Access & Healthy Communities.
