William Valois is a Non-Partisan candidate running for City Council in Cumberland, Maryland. Valois serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Grow West MD, a family-owned medical cannabis company based in the city. He has led the organization since April 2018, overseeing substantial expansions and the growth of its workforce to over one hundred local employees. Prior to his work in the cannabis industry, Valois spent years in technology. He served as a Voice Engineer for the US Senate from 2002 to 2011 and worked at The Carlyle Group from 2014 to 2018. He and his wife, Mounia, work together to manage the company.
