Adele Y. McClure has been a member of the Virginia House of Delegates representing the 2nd district since 2024. She is the first Black person since Reconstruction and the first Asian person to represent Arlington County in the General Assembly. McClure previously served as the executive director of the Virginia Legislative Black Caucus and as a policy director for former Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for Law & Policy in 2019.
