Amy Elliott Bridges

Amy Bridges has served on the Cleveland County Water Board of Commissioners since December 2009. A native of Polkville, NC, she graduated from Burns High School in 1985 and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Mechanization and Business from Clemson University in 1989. Since 2014, she has been the Downtown Community Development Manager for the Town of Forest City. Her prior experience includes working for the Foothills Regional Commission (2010-2014), Cleveland County Schools (2007-2009), and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Natural Resources and Conservation Services from 1989 to 2006, providing her with a background in natural resources and environmental issues.
