Anat G Weisenfreund

Anat Weisenfreund was appointed as the interim Ward 2 School Committee member in January 2025. She has worked with children and families for over 30 years in clinical, leadership, and advocacy roles. For the past 16 years, she has been the Head Start Director for Community Action Pioneer Valley, overseeing a $12 million budget and 130 staff members. She holds a Bachelor's degree from Hampshire College and a Master's degree from Bank Street College of Education. She has lived in Ward 2 for the past eight years.
