Angela T. Chainer

Angela Chainer is a public servant with a background in law enforcement and international peacekeeping. A native of Fluvanna County, she served in the DeKalb County, Georgia police department, where she led the Special Victims Unit and initiated a community policing program. She later worked globally in post-conflict regions such as Bosnia, Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Haiti, helping to rebuild police systems in partnership with the U.S. State Department and military. She is now running for the House of Delegates, positioning herself as a public servant rather than a career politician.
