She began her prosecution career in the Lynchburg office in March 2006 as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, later serving as Deputy and Chief Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney. Harrison earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia in 2001 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama in 2005. Prior to becoming a prosecutor, she worked for the Family Foundation, a nonprofit advocating for conservative family values. Governor Glenn Youngkin appointed her to the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission.
