Betty Villegas

Betty Villegas is an incumbent State Representative for Arizona House District 20, having been politically appointed to the role in July 2023. A third-generation native of Tucson, she is a Democratic candidate seeking election for the same district in the 2026 Arizona Primary Election. Prior to her legislative service, Villegas held positions as the South Tucson Housing and Community Development Director and served on the Pima County Government Board of Supervisors. She is a retired Pima County government employee dedicated to public service in her home state.
