Bradford Lee Rigby is the incumbent District Attorney for Georgia's Cordele Judicial Circuit, a position he has held since his appointment by Governor Nathan Deal in 2016. A Republican, he is seeking re-election in the 2026 Republican primary. Rigby has dedicated 24 years to prosecution, including previous roles as an Assistant District Attorney in the Tifton and Cordele Judicial Circuits. He earned his law degree from the Lamar School of Law at the University of Mississippi. In 2024, Rigby was honored as the District Attorney of the Year by the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council of Georgia, recognized for his successful prosecution of numerous murder cases and his role on the Georgia Commission on Family Violence.
