Briana Sewell is a lifelong resident of Prince William County, born in Woodbridge, Virginia. She is the daughter of U.S. Air Force veterans. Sewell graduated from the College of William and Mary with a bachelor's degree in public policy and earned a master's degree in public administration from American University. Her career includes serving as the Prince William County District Director for Congressman Gerald Connolly, working as the senior organizer for the Virginia Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy, and serving as chief of staff to the chair of the Prince William County Board of Supervisors. She was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in 2021.
