Chapman Good is a lifelong resident of Luray, Virginia, where he attended Luray High School. After graduating in 2001, he joined the United States Marine Corps in 2005, serving as an infantryman with multiple combat deployments to the Middle East. After receiving an honorable discharge, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from George Mason University and a Juris Doctorate from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University. He is the son of Page County Sheriff's Office Captain, Ikey Good.
