Courtney L. Johnson

Courtney L. Johnson is an incumbent Superior Court Judge for the DeKalb Judicial Circuit in Georgia, where she presides over a wide range of civil and criminal cases. A graduate of Georgetown University and Emory University, she was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2000. She previously worked as a prosecutor before being elected to the Superior Court in 2010. Known for her calm and confident demeanor, Judge Johnson is focused on the substance of the law. She is seeking re-election in 2026 for a nonpartisan four-year term, having previously won re-election without opposition in 2014.
