Dashad L. "Tippy" Cooper

Dashad Cooper is a native of Charlottesville and an alumnus of the local public school system. He earned an associate's degree in political science and government from Piedmont Virginia Community College. He has worked for the City of Charlottesville for several years, currently as a social services assistant. His past roles include serving as the Vice Chair of the Charlottesville Democratic Committee and as a board member of the Charlottesville City Police Civilian Oversight Board.
