David A. Mick is a prosecutor with nearly two decades of experience in criminal law. He is a lifelong resident of Hampton Roads. His career began as a Public Defender, after which he served as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney and a Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney in Chesapeake. He has also served as an Assistant Attorney General of Virginia, working on criminal litigation, cold cases, and special investigations. Governor Glenn Youngkin appointed him to the Virginia Board of Juvenile Justice, and he also serves on the Chesapeake Community Criminal Justice Board. Mick has handled thousands of criminal cases, from misdemeanors to murder, and has argued cases at every level of Virginia's courts, including the Supreme Court of Virginia.
