David Glass

David Glass is a seasoned public servant currently serving as Councilman for the Borough of River Edge, New Jersey. He acts as Liaison to Police and the Land Use Board, and is involved in finance and safety committees. He also sits on the River Edge Land Use Board. Previously, Mr. Glass held significant roles in the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, including Deputy Commissioner, managing environmental projects and policy, and Deputy Chief of Staff, engaging with legislative bodies. He also served as Director of Community Relations for Congressman Leonard Lance. A Rutgers University graduate in Political Science and History, Glass has been actively involved in New Jersey state and federal campaigns, winning his Council seat in 2023 as a Democrat.
