Deborah Pastrich-Klemer has been the Ward 2 City Councilor since being elected in 2023. Before her time on the council, she had a 40-year career in radiology and was a member of the 1199SEIU union. Originally from Queens, NY, she moved to Northampton in 2013. Her political involvement in the city began in 2017 when she founded Indivisible Northampton (INoho). She has also served as the vice president of the Northampton Democratic City Committee.
