DEBORAH SHEPPARD

Deborah Sheppard is a 22-year resident of Greenville, North Carolina, and a dedicated community advocate. She served for nearly four years on the City's Recreation and Parks Commission, including one year as Chair. She is the founder of HeARToscope, a nonprofit organization that utilizes the arts for healing, cultural enrichment, and economic development. Through her nonprofit, she has organized large-scale community events providing school supplies, free health services, and voter registration.
