Douglas Crockett is a Democratic candidate for the U.S. House, representing Virginia's 9th Congressional District in 2026. A native of Wythe County, Virginia, he is a retired United Methodist pastor and attorney, having served people for over three decades, often assisting those with limited resources. He holds degrees from Emory & Henry College, seminary, and William & Mary Law School. Currently residing in Williamsburg, he leads a part-time estate law education ministry. Crockett is running to bring principled leadership and his experience in values-based service, law, and community advocacy to public office. He aims to represent the Ninth District by listening, uniting people, and working for a prosperous future, while protecting and expanding freedoms.
