Elaine G. Walters

Elaine G. Walters is a lifelong resident of Essex County, Virginia. She earned an associate's degree from Rappahannock Community College and a bachelor's degree in Marine Biology and Sustainability Leadership from Old Dominion University. As an environmentalist and marine biologist, she has traveled globally to work on conservation projects, including protecting nesting loggerhead sea turtles in Cape Verde, Africa. This experience, she states, highlighted the need for community-based solutions and inspired her to run for office.
