In 2018, she joined the Fredericksburg prosecutor's office as a supervising deputy commonwealth's attorney. She earned her law degree from the University of Virginia and her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Humphries has extensive experience as a trial attorney, prosecuting violent crimes including homicides and sexual assaults. She lives in Fredericksburg with her husband.
