Elizabeth Poole

Elizabeth 'Liz' Poole is the Career Development Coordinator at Mount Pleasant High School. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Business Administration from Queens University in Charlotte. A former business owner, Poole has extensive experience in local government, having previously served three terms on the Cabarrus County Board of Commissioners, beginning in 2008, and 10 years on the Board of Education, including four years as chair. She is a lifelong resident of Cabarrus County.
