Elizabeth Guzman is a social worker and public administrator who previously served as a member of the Virginia House of Delegates for the 31st district from 2018 to 2024. Born in Peru, she immigrated to the United States as a young single mother. She earned an associate degree from Northern Virginia Community College, a bachelor's degree in public safety from Capella University, a Master of Public Administration from American University, and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. Her professional experience includes working for the City of Alexandria's Department of Adult Services. In 2017, she became one of the first Hispanic women elected to the Virginia House of Delegates.
