Eric Barlow

Eric Barlow is a fourth-generation Wyomingite, born in Gillette and raised on his family's ranch southwest of town in Campbell County. After graduating from Campbell County High School in 1984, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (1984–1988) and later earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1998. He returned home to practice as a large-animal veterinarian and run the family ranch, and was appointed to the Wyoming Livestock Board in 2006, serving six years. Elected to the Wyoming House of Representatives in 2012, he represented District 3 for five terms, serving as House Majority Floor Leader (2019–2020) and Speaker of the House (2021–2022), and has represented Senate District 23 since 2023. He and his wife, Kelly, have two children, Kate and Graham.
