Fatima Harris Felton

Fatima Harris Felton, a seasoned attorney originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, is seeking election as Judge of the Georgia Court of Appeals in the May 2026 general election. She earned her law degree from Tulane University School of Law after attending Loyola University New Orleans. Felton owns The Harris Law Firm, specializing in family law, wrongful death, and insurance beneficiary disputes, and has practiced in Georgia for over 20 years. She previously served as a Judicial Officer in the Fulton County Superior Court and was past President of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service. Felton volunteers as a pro bono lawyer for Kids in Need of Defense, assisting unaccompanied children, and is an active member of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.
