Garrick Perry is an incumbent City Councilor, having first served as the Ward 4 representative and currently as a Councilor At-Large. He has lived in the Pioneer Valley for nearly 20 years, after moving to the area to attend Amherst College, where he graduated with degrees in English and Psychology. Perry is the lead vocalist for the reggae band The Alchemystics and has managed several local music venues, including the Iron Horse Music Hall. He has two children in the city's school system.
