Geary M. Higgins was born in Baltimore, Maryland. He earned a degree in Business Administration from Clarion University. His professional career includes serving as the Vice President of Labor Relations for the National Electrical Contractors Association in Washington, D.C., and owning a consulting business. Prior to his state-level role, Higgins served on the Loudoun County School Board from 2000 to 2004 and the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors from 2012 to 2019. He was first elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2023 and assumed office on January 10, 2024. He and his wife, Gail, live in Waterford.
