Heather D. Hovermale

Heather Hovermale is the current Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Winchester, a role she has held for the last four years. She has served as a prosecutor for the citizens of Winchester for over thirteen years, previously as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney and as a Deputy Commonwealth's Attorney. After graduating from West Virginia University College of Law in 2008, she clerked for a federal district court judge before working at the law firm of Jackson Kelly, PLLC. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Concord College in 2005. She is the first female Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Winchester.
