Howard J. Springsteen

Howard J. Springsteen has served on the Vienna Town Council since 2009 and has been Vice Mayor Pro-tem for two one-year terms. He previously served on the Transportation Safety Commission for eight years. His 40-year career in public service was influenced by his time as a Peace Corps volunteer in Liberia. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in American History from Farleigh Dickinson University and a Master's in Public Administration from New York University. He is also a life member of the Vienna Volunteer Fire Department, where he has held leadership positions.
