Israel D. O'Quinn was born in Abingdon, Virginia, and has served in the House of Delegates since 2012. He is the incumbent for District 44 and serves as the Deputy House Republican Leader. He graduated from Patrick Henry High School and earned a B.A. in political science and history from Emory & Henry College, where he now serves on the Board of Trustees. His professional experience includes nearly two decades in the private sector, including a role as Director of Strategic Initiatives for K-VA-T Food Stores, and prior work in the office of the Virginia Attorney General and on various political campaigns.
